Operations/Devops Engineer (m/w/d)

For our costumer, we are looking for an Operations/DevOps Engineer (m/w/d).

Start: asap

Location: ca. 80% remote and 20% onsite in Berlin

Requirements:

- Operational experience with productive applications or systems (ideally containerized and distributed)
- Thorough knowledge of containerization and container management, packaging of applications and
customization of deployments
- Ability to manage CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with various relational and non-relational data technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, Kafka, Neo4J, etc.)
- Experience with automation and infrastructure as code and/or gitOps
- Proficiency in both speech and writing in English (at least C1)
- Proficiency in both speech and writing in German (at least C1)

- Excellent documentation and communication skills and proactive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, adapting to agile and DevOps methodologies for
software development
-Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable
solutions
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and addressing technical challenges

Preferred competencies / skills
- Experience with the usage of observability tools
- Experience with Kubernetes operators (with custom-build operators being a plus)
- Experience with hyperscalers (GCP and others)
- Experience with OT/IT integration
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including protocols, load balancing, and security
- Knowledge of ITSM frameworks
