Delivery Lead (m/w/d) GCP - Berlin & remote

Für unseren Kunden suchen wir ab sofort einen Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (m/w/d) GCP für den voraussichtlichen Zeitraum bis 12/2024 mit der Option auf langfristige Verlängerung. In diesem großen Greenfield-Projekt kann unter Nutzung moderner Technologien ein Beitrag zur Energiewende geleistet werden. Das Projekt ist als Vollzeitbeschäftigung geplant. Der Einsatz findet zu bis zu 50% vor Ort in Berlin statt.

Project Description:

The team is building an internal platform for software product developers to accelerate the development and delivery of software products to tackle the massive challenges facing the energy sector. The Platform is a service oriented, cloud-native platform that is being built to provide application teams with self-service capabilities to develop, run and operate their software products. The Platform provides services for application infrastructure, data, service lifecycle management, application build and delivery as well as services to operate their software products. The platform is deployed as a hybrid cloud, encompassing both private cloud and selected public clouds.

Tasks:
- Act as Scrum Master for the GCP team
- Improve Scrum-related processes in the team
- Mentor team in Scrum best practices
- Manage releases, including alignment of timelines and managing dependencies
- Take over responsibility for meeting agreed timelines
- Define and put into action mitigating actions if a timely release is at risk (in alignment with the Product Line Lead)

Profile Requirements:
The individual must be self-dependent Scrum Master and Delivery Lead, with proven experience in a scaled agile environment. The will to take over responsibility for delivering releases according to the aligned timeline is essential. The individual has to be skilled in improving Scrum-related processes like story refinement and ensuring the right level of granularity of stories.

Must-have competencies / skills:
- Technical skills are most important! (infrastructure, delivery, GCP)
- Experience in working as a Scrum Master, especially in a scaled agile environment
- Experience in managing releases, including timeline and dependency management
- Experience in defining and improving Scrum-related processes in a startup-like organization
- Very good communication skills in a multi-national organization
- Taking over own responsibility instead of shifting responsibility to the team
- Goal orientation
- Good knowledge of Google Cloud services

Preferred competencies / skills:

- Certification as Scrum Master
